I have been having a lot of fun with playing around with the layout of these publications.
I intend to produce one full supplement and then 4 spreads from each of the other five supplements.
Editorial design is something which I have been wanting to try out but have never really given myself the opportunity to do so. I am really enjoyed the layout process and this is something I definitely want to come back to within my design.
The purpose of the supplement is to be a visual reminder of the speaker and to provide a little more insight into the Typographic circle speaker themselves. I therefore have purposely kept the design minimal as I want it to be about the images of each speakers work being presented rather than about realms of body copy. For that reason, it is more of an exhibition catalog but I am really enjoying it.
