I recently received promotional material from Topshop for the opening of their new store in Leeds. In an attempt to get people in to the store, Topshop gave out envelopes which instructed the user to open the envelope and visit the store in due course to find out how much money they had won to spend in store. The user could then only use the money on the card in the one store over the weekend. This clever marketing of Topshop ensured that customers went to the store opening as they received a free gift in return. This strategy would definitely work with students as they will want anything free!
This game at Topshop entices students to have fun playing a game, whilst also being able to receive actual rewards from Topshop. The promotional material for this is simple and includes only the relevant information. I want my creative lottery to take on this concept, be simple to use yet fun and interactive for the students in order to keep them engaged.
