Brief 1:: Square Format

As Suzy stated in our last meeting, our biggest challenge is going to be the square format of the book seen as most fashion shots are portrait format. Nevertheless, this is a creative challenge where we are sure we can making something of it.

We have come across a fashion publication which is also square format but utilises the space incredibly well, I think the main factor that determines this is the use of the landscape imagery. Therefore we need to ensure that the fashion students understand when they are brief that they need to supply us with landscape shots of their work in order for it to work effectively.
