We have decided not to digitally produce our boards, but instead use mountboard to stick and pin our designs onto. This is also a decision based on the fact that we want to propose different stocks, materials, stitches and threads. In proposing our idea to the fashion graduate show committee in this way, it will give them a chance to feel the stocks and see the different detailings we are proposing, rather than just looking at flat designs on screen.
However, in order for the boards to make sense, I have written explanations of all the different key aspects of our designs which we will then position next to the designs.
