We have created a mock-up of the cover design we want to propose. We are going to propose to that we use a students image of their work on the cover (selection of the student whose image is to be used will be down to the tutors).
The black box is a representation of the square format book but also covers quite a lot of the image so that the reader feels intrigued by the design and wants to read more.
We are also going to propose that the black box it UV spot varnished, as this will create a variation in texture and enable the publication to appear more professional.
